Broken leg

Melanie broke her leg this morning coming out of Seminary. Tripped over her own foot. Has to wear a cast for 6 weeks. It's actually not a horrible break but she is hurting. Glad this wasn't right before camp this summer or the trip to Lake Powell. Don't know whether she'll be able to do any skiing by then, will just have to wait and see. First broken bone of all my children, of course, it wouldn't be one of the boys. She's such a tomboy, had to have stitches when she was about 20 months old. With all the climbing on roofs, trees and jumping onto trampolines from the neighbors roof you would think she could actually walk without hurting herself. Shaver Lake family reunion

Our family reunion at Shaver Lake in California with my 2 sisters and their daughters' families. We relaxed on Mike and Teri's pontoon boat, cooked over a grill, played dominoes and uno, swam and rode on kayaks out to a rock island.

Tucker learned you can't stand up in the kayak. Wish I'd known he was going to take a dive, I would've video taped it.

George and Jared looked so cool and relaxed. Not missing the heat in Provo and Lubbock at all.
